Without a doubt, my life would have been much different if I could have just finished bathing and drunk myself to sleep. It wasn’t to be. Fate knocked on my door. It forced me out of the bath, soaking wet, dripping soapy water on the spotless hotel carpet, wearing nothing but a waist towel. Fate that day wore a familiar yet slightly forgotten visage.

Out there, in the hotel corridor, leaning against the threshold of my chambers, was Eleonor, guns strapped around each leg, knives at her waist, hair running wild.

Before I could finish my sentence, she lunged at me and kissed me flat out on the lips. She pushed me inside, telling me she didn’t like being told no. She smacked the towel off me, and when she grabbed me too virulently by my wounded side, I winced and cried out in pain. She considered my burns, smelling them like a feline, and then she licked them, savagely. She undressed as she did so, removing her red skinsuit from the bottom. By all logic, I should have been turned on by now, but I was too surprised, too angry, and too empty, in a sexual sense, to get any reaction down there. She did not fail to notice it.

“What’s wrong?”

“You’re asking me what’s wrong?”

“Kiss me,” she said, and instead she kissed me. I was overwhelmed. It was too much, too unexpected, and possibly the worst timing imaginable. I hate to be crude, but Herriot and my sex odyssey had really drained my balls. It was biologically too soon for me to get any stimuli down there.

It was hurting, all of it. “I don’t know what you’re doing, Lena, but you’re blowing it.” I said it calmly, trying to temper the situation, to give both of us time to process what was happening.

“Blowing it? You’re telling me I’m blowing it?” Her lips trembled. Anger rose in her. In a last desperate effort to subdue me, she grabbed me by my bad arm and threw me back on the bed. She swiftly got on top of me, grabbed my limp penis in her hand, and failed to get anything out of it.

A flurry of emotions rocked me: anger, sorrow, regret, and compassion. I ceased resisting, my dick was shrinking inside her hand, and suddenly she stopped hurling me and broke down in a violent sob.
